BE THE BEST OF WHO YOU ARE IN GOD’S EYES FIRST BEFORE YOU COULD BE THE BEST IN SOMEONE ELSE’S EYES :)

Living your life through imitation gives you a definite limitation :)

“Love Is Waiting”

In the autumn on the ground,
between the traffic and the ordinary sounds
I am thinking signs and seasons while a north wind blows through
I watch as lovers pass me by
Walking stories - whos and hows and whys
Musing lazily on love
Pondering you
I’ll give it time, give it space and be still for a spell
When it’s time to walk that way we wanna walk it well

[CHORUS:]
I’ll be waiting for you baby
I’ll be holding back the darkest night
Love is waiting til we’re ready, til it’s right
Love is waiting

It’s my caution not the cold
there’s no other hand that i would rather hold
the climate changes, I’m singing for the strangers about you
don’t keep time, slow the pace
Honey hold on if you can
the bets are getting surer now that you’re my man

[CHORUS]

[BRIDGE:]
I could write a million songs about the way you say my name
I could live a lifetime with you and then do it all again
and like I can’t force the sun to rise or hasten summer’s start,
neither should I rush my way into your heart

When you go through difficult times, make sure you pass the test. Don’t be stubborn and hardheaded. Recognize that God is refining you, knocking off some of your rough edges. Stand strong and fight the good fight of faith. God has called each of us to be champions; you are destined to win. If you will work with God and keep a good attitude, then no matter what comes against you, the bible says that all things – not just the good things in life, but all things – work together for your good ♥♥

trusting GOD does not make mountains smaller but make climbing easier. don;t ask God for lighter loads, but ask for stronger shoulders ♥

Can You Trust God in Silence?

“In his heart a man plans his course, but the Lord determines his steps.”

Proverbs 16:9

Read Proverbs 16: 1-33

Are there divine road maps stacked somewhere in heaven that detail the course our lives must take? If we pray – hard enough, long enough, fervently enough – will a scroll magically fall from the sky, land at our feet, and reveal a message that will erase our uncertainties about the future and make us grasp the present with the firm grip of courage?

Even if we ask a thousand questions, the answer would often still be silence – deafening silence. Cloaked in the linen of mystery, silence can alternately be disturbing and calming, induce fear and hope, appear as black and white. Which one will it be?

These proverbs tell us that even if we plan, the outcome is ultimately out of our control. The challenge is this: Can we take God’s hand and let Him lead us wherever He wishes? Can we take silence as a companion and realize that silence can purge our ears of the unintelligible ramblings of the world and its litany of worries and woes?

The Lord of the universe, the Creator of all things seen and unseen determines our steps. We can revel in the sound of silence while waiting and praying. Only then can we be strengthened on the long and hard road, confident that it is the right way.

O God of my tomorrows, give me the patience to wait. May it not be long until silence is dislodged in my heart by what would best take its place – the sound of Your still, small voice.

Reconcile If You Can

All this is from God who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation

2 Corinthians 5:18

Reconciliation with someone who has become estranged from you is not always possible. There are times when you desperately want to be reconciled, yet in spite of your prayers, tears and pleas, the other person still walks away from you, leaving you with feelings of guilt.

So what do you do when you have tried to reconcile and it hasn’t happened? Do you live with the burden of guilt or find God’s grace to move on?

First, you need to make sure your relationship with God is right, that you are reconciled with Him. As Isaiah puts it, “We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way” (Isaiah 53:6). Sometimes difficulty forces you to look in the mirror and re-align yourself with God’s will for your life. This means saying, “Lord, forgive me. I ask for Your help and forgiveness.”

Then, get up off your knees and know that you are free of your burden. No, your situation hasn’t changed. You have. No longer will you feel guilt and you can now find God’s grace to move on. There is tremendous freedom in putting something you cannot change in God’s hands. He is the only one who can turn hearts back to Himself and back to you.

At this point, do you give up on ever being reconciled? No, not for a moment. You wait, expecting God to honor your prayers and trust Him. How long do you wait? As long as necessary for God to change the heart of the person who walked away from you.

Reconcile if you can. But if you can’t, trust God for His grace to help you do the right thing and wait for Him to act.
